LivGemini has secured Pre-Seed Plus funding to accelerate the development of the next generation of Venus X, our AI-powered platform for cardiovascular image analysis and patient-specific modelling.

The programme will be used primarily to strengthen the AI model dedicated to the thoracic aorta, one of the core technologies behind the Venus workflow.

Our objective is to move beyond a model that performs well under controlled conditions and build an AI system capable of handling the variability encountered in real clinical practice: different patient anatomies, pathologies, CT acquisition protocols, image quality levels and scanner characteristics.

To achieve this, we are expanding and diversifying our training data, refining the underlying AI architecture and improving the entire pipeline from medical imaging to high-quality patient-specific 3D reconstruction.

A stronger anatomical reconstruction model is also a critical foundation for everything that follows.

Accurate and reproducible geometry enables reliable morphological measurements, device sizing, biomechanical simulation and in-silico model generation, reducing the amount of manual processing required before advanced computational analyses can be performed.

The Pre-Seed Plus programme therefore supports not only an improvement in segmentation performance, but a broader evolution of Venus X toward a more robust, scalable and simulation-ready cardiovascular platform.
