PNRR PROJECTS

A one-year R&D programme to develop a new AI-based hemodynamic surrogate, expanding Venus from anatomical reconstruction toward fast patient-specific flow prediction.

LivGemini’s VENUS Flow project has been selected from Area Science Park Trieste for the Deep Tech Revolution Programme, supporting the next technological evolution of our cardiovascular Digital Twin platform.

Over the next 12 months, we will develop a new hemodynamic surrogate model designed to reproduce complex blood-flow simulations with a fraction of the computational cost of traditional CFD.

The goal is to integrate fast, patient-specific flow prediction directly into the VENUS workflow, enabling clinicians and researchers to move from anatomical reconstruction to near-real-time functional assessment.

The programme will also support the recruitment of a new researcher, strengthening LivGemini’s internal R&D capabilities and accelerating the development of new AI, simulation and Digital Twin technologies.

VENUS Flow represents an important step in our roadmap: from reconstructing cardiovascular anatomy to predicting how blood actually flows through it.

From geometry to function: VENUS Flow will bring fast hemodynamic intelligence into the cardiovascular Digital Twin.
